To someone who has bad eyesight, glasses are a necessity to correct the issue. Glasses are also a great opportunity to be stylish and take advantage of the different pairs you can purchase. There are a few things you need to think about when picking out the perfect pair of glasses. One of the things that need to be talked about today is how to pick the right frames for you. From their size to their style it is all important and we will go over it soon. Picking the right eyeglasses can prove to be quite challenging especially when you can’t see what you’re doing. If you have the luxury of owning some contact lenses then you’re a lucky one. That being said, the process of finding the perfect glasses for you can still be a daunting task to say the least. After reading this you should have a better time choosing the right glasses without trying on pair after pair for what can seem like forever. It should save you some time if you use these tips I’m about to talk to you about. What you need to do when you’re searching for your perfect pair of eyeglasses you need to take your face shape into consideration, the glasses you pick need to fit properly, the color of the frames need to harmonize with your skin coloring, and the glasses need to work with your facial features as well.
The first step is to get an eye test and get an accurate prescription, once you’ve done that you just need to get a mirror. Now we can move onto the best fit and have you looking your best in no time. When finding the best fit you need to select a pair and make sure your eyes are centered in the middle of the lenses. Today we have a model I’ll demonstrate on. This first pair we have on her seems a bit narrow and instead of being centered in the lenses, her eyes are more towards the outsides of them. That’s because this pair is not the right size for her and any decent optician will take notice of that and insist on another pair.
Now let’s try the next frame on her. So we don’t have the same issue as last time but this time we have a bit of the opposite effect where her eyes are more to the middle of the glass lenses and the frames are wider then her face and that’s also something you need to watch out for. This all goes under the sizing and it’s a crucial part of the process. So let’s try on this next pair. With this pair her eyes seem to be centered in the lenses but the issue is that we also want our glasses to line up somewhat with our brow line too. These frames are very straight along the top of the glasses and our model has more of an ached brow. We want the glasses to flow nicely with the brow so we will need a more arched top on the next pair. The last pair we have on her are the perfect fit for sure. Her eyes are lined up in the center of the lenses. The frames fit her face and the top of the lens shape works perfectly with her brow shape. Hopefully you can see how well these work on her and use these guide lines to your own advantage next time you’re on the hunt for the perfect eyeglasses.
